Grand Rotary Paddle Steamer Flotilla

Don't miss out on the “Grand Rotary Paddle Steamer Flotilla" event on Saturday afternoon - this will definitely be one of the highlights of the conference!  

We have booked a number of historic paddle steamers to take us all on a memorable, relaxing paddle steamer ride on the Mighty River Murray where we can enjoy the scenery and learn more about this amazing river which is also the third longest navigable river in the world.

Many people will remember the "All the River's Run" TV series from the 80's which was was set in Echuca and featured life, love and adventure on the steamboats that worked the Murray River.   The series was based on the novel All the Rivers Run by Nancy Cato and was a hit worldwide for Crawford Productions.  The Steamboat Philadelphia featured in the TV series was actually the SS Pevensey which still plies the Murray around Echuca today.

Important information about thIS EVENT

The departure point for the Rotary Flotilla is Echuca Wharf - so to get you to the wharf, there will be return coach transport from the conference venue and we will have you back in plenty of time to get ready for Saturday night's spectacular dinner.

 There will be wheelchair access onto the paddle steamers, however, disabled toilet facilities on-board are limited. Please advise us of any mobility issues.
